Why do you need a reward to do that? The reward doesn't do anything anyway. Just beating a game isn't even a true reward. You play games to enjoy them, and do challenges for the fun. That's the only true reward. What does that extra item do for you in the real world? I am rather tired of people saying "but I didn't get anything for doing it" when you don't get anything for playing a game ever.
