They already have their network set up with the Wii. Their servers are handling the traffic just fine. They handle DS online games just fine. They don't need more infrastructure to be built, their servers seem up to the task. All they need is a firmware update and the server software updated to provide this stuff. It is in their best interest to do this too, as it not only gets those advertisements called demos in our hands, they can make money directly off sales of old Gameboy games.
