Yeah, Phazon Mines is pretty hard, even on normal mode, but hard takes it to a different level. Still, I managed, and then it was time for Ridley and Prime.
You understand they removed a number of the really cool visual cues to things like floating platforms? Where did you hear that and where is your documentation to back up your claim? :D Sorry, but seriously it would be horrible to learn that Retro took out what only added to the mood of the game. I often used the rain drops as my way of getting to a few places, and there's not a bit of cheating involved. I just wasn't ready to go after the x-ray visor yet :D. If they made a new version of it and at least fixed the odd lockup bug that's all I wanted. Why would they actually take the time to do that? Seriously, could ya provide a link on this or something? I'd hate to think they fixed a crippling bug but removed some neat features of the game.
