You don't say? Perhaps that's why I said that it wouldn't be out until late 2004/early 2005.
I'm well aware of that, but as you mentioned it's surprising to hear plans so soon. You have a problem with me making a thread about it? Huh? Huh?? We have what, two threads in the Nintendo section of this forum that get replied to every day?
Are you kidding me? The Wind Waker engine is perfect for Mario! Just imagine how much they could add to Mario if it used WW's engine. The world would be a lot more colorful, active, animated, and you would be able to do all sort of crazy things with Mario if it weren't restricted to a more realitic graphical style. Just look at all of the cool stuff that you can do in WW that would be out of place in OoT.
Quote:We've heard several times before that new Mario, Zelda, and Pikmin (especially Pikmin) games will probably be coming, so this isn't huge news... its just surprising to see (at least some of) them started so soon. Surprising, and good!

Quote:I definitely would like to see a more realistic Zelda game... as for Mario in the Wind Waker engine, why do you think that would be so great? Explain...
