I feel if it's a game I don't think is worth keeping after I beat it, I'll just borrow it from a friend or rent it for a week.
Generally, I only currently own a couple games that are so completely and utterly without value to me that I want to sell them. Two are unliscensed NES games (I have a 3rd of those, but it's actually pretty fun, AND it was made by Sega, for the NES, BY SEGA, FOR THE NES, Afterburner).
