I didn't go to Winamp3 after using it a couple of times because of the major flaws in it, chief of which is the lack of Winamp2 plugins. I absolutely require plugins to be able to use Winamp because I make a lot of use of the PSF and SPC plugins (the ones that allow playing PSF Playstation Sound Files and SPC Super NES Sound Files, which are WAY smaller than MP3s at the same quality...). Also, I like Winamp2 skins, and Winamp3 doesn't work with any of them because the files list section doesn't carry over the old skins, ruining them all. Etc. Winamp3 was just poorly done and I can see why the abandoned it for Winamp 5.
