Highlights:

-so many games coming to Xbox Live Arcade. Lumines Live, Super Contra, Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, Galaga, and more, more, more. Wow. Over 100 partnerships with companies like Namco, Konami, Sega, and many more.

-Halo 3 shown. Looked drop dead beautiful. Can be seen at http://www.bungie.net

-Fable 2 teaser shown. Can be seen at http://www.fable2.com

-Forza 2 announced for a Fall release. Looked god damned impressive.

-Alan Wake exclusive to PC and 360

-Gears of War shown again. Wow...just wow.

-Camera shown

-Grand Theft Auto 4 coming to the 360 October of 2007. There's some confusion as to whether it's exclusive or just a timed exclusive. I'm betting on the later.

EDIT: Simultaneous release on PS3 and 360.

-HD-DVD add-on shown (about 1/3 the size of the 360, no price announced. Will be available this holiday season)

-Live will work with Cell Phones and Computers using Live Anywhere.

a lot of exciting details you could read up on at IGN, Gamespot, Eurogamer, Xboxyde, Teamxbox, etc if you care. As far as the pre-conference goes, Microsoft took first place (blew the lid off everything), Nintendo coming in a good second (they showed some good stuff, but still too much secrecy), and Sony was just pitiful.

Coolest part of the show? The fact that the videos were available right when the conference started. Seriously, some people were watching the Halo 3 trailer off of Live before it was shown at the conference. Same with Fable 2, Forza 2, Alan Wake, and others. love MS.
