There needs to be a chat option, voice chat would be a major plus, and you should be able to add the random people to your friend list. Chat rooms by catagory is something that simply needs to be there.

Ultimately, by next year, I expect all of these features and possibly a 'DS Camera' device used in chat as well either by wireless connection within the 30 foot range or over the wifi network.

As it is, it's fantastic but lacking in several practical areas. I know Nintendo is taking notes.
