CNNMoney: Witnessing the Revolution

Revolution is still the code name. But i'm willing to bet it will stick just like 'DS' stuck.

If you think about it, XBox stuck with '360' which is just as bizarre a name.

The code name for the 360 was Xenon, and some referred to it as Xenos I believe (one was the codename of the cpu and the other the codename for the project); both were known for at least the last year and probably closer to two years. Some even referred to it as X2 (which was not a codename or project name). The 'Xbox 360' name didn't come along until very recently.
