Morrowind is a pretty average-looking game no matter what system it's on. My brother has the X-Box version and I have the PC version. I got the PC version because I wanted to make my own levels and to be able to get new patches and mods (there's this one mod I have that's even better than the official expansion pack). Otherwise I would have stuck with the X-Box version because I like sitting on my comfy chair and playing on my nice t.v. The textures in the PC version are much better than the X-Box version's, but I have no idea why that's so since the textures are sub-PS2 quality. It should have looked much better.

My guess is that it's because of the XBox's unified memory. The game is apparently, very RAM intensive, and after all the game data is stored, there mustn't have been enough left over for good quality texture.

Or it was just a poor port =\
