Old news perhaps, but was SC: Ghost canned for the GC ?

Of course I want it to come out on Gamecube (or Revolution), given that I don't have an Xbox or PS2, but this game has always been so far off, and it's been delayed so many times, that I'm still not completely convinced that it's going to come out at all (okay, it's looking more likely now, but still...), much less on my platform of choice... :)
