Heh, anyway that WAS an english translation that actually said it like the fish. However, it certainly counts, because in Japan his name is Forte, and Treble is named Gospel.
Rock, Roll, Forte, Gospel, Blues, Tango, Rush, Beat... Hmm, these are somehow related!
Audiophiles didn't make up the word. Bass refers to the lowest point in music, and is right below baritone. So blame all of those guys with the big white wigs that decided to call that really low note bass.
