Yeah. It's a comedy, and doesn't take it seriously at all... that's not really a problem, but it does avoid really answering many of the questions raised. And as I said, because of its nature of a serial comedy, no character has any character development to speak of...

Oh, and did I mention how dumb the overall plot is? I mean, not the "guy who turns into girl when hit by cold water" part, but what they do with it... Ranma, of course, as the main character, has that magical "anime main character attractiveness" and most of the characters in the show of the other gender like him... the only twist on it is that as a female he has some of the male characters after him. Ha ha... okay... but it gets old after a while, episode after episode without resolving anything ever... still, just entertaining enough that I did finish renting the dvds of the two seasons the store had.

Oh yes, the first season's opening and ending songs are better than the second season's ones, I think. :)
