Yunno, there was a time when firearms classes were taught in public school, as recently as thirty years ago. My mother participated, and was a hell of a shot with a bolt-action. She told me about it the other day, said she absolutely loved sharpshooting, and so did most of her classmates.
Kids learning to use guns in school... and not using them against each other.
Today, we're told that guns are the root of all evil and they are under severe restrictions. Certainly aren't teaching them how to use them in school. And yet kids are killing each other to a degree exponentially greater than in my mom's childhood.
I wonder why this is? ABF? Care to offer an opinion?
