Nah lets hope he contracted the mad cow desease , So Al'qeada can have mentally rotting vegatable as its leader.

Unfortunately weither this guy dies or not it probaily wont do anything to end terrorism and the insurgency in iraq or abroad, Infact it might bolster it.

They are religous fanatics, He lives its miracle a sign from god to continue the slaughter, He dies he is a martyr and a example to all of them!

Before 9/11 and the hole terrorism thing, Matyr meant somthing noble and honnorable, A guy willing to take it all to upheld and stand to his ideals , But now "matyrdom" is somthing more dark sinister in meaning since then,Its means the act of mass murder for dubious rewards and to pressure others to follow in their path.

The best way defeat the terrorist is deny them the "matyrdom",It would be better off making them live in a humilitating and debilitating way.

Deprograming terrorists,Many of these guys have been brainswashed by years of indoctrination , bare in mind the average IQ in middle eastern countries is about 78 due to rather shady education and heavy religous focus instead of academics,The less educateds you are the more gaullible you are.

This kind of brain washing has been done for a long time, The Mayans did the same for their "ball game" tournament they had, Trying to drill into their heads since their youth you win the tournament and then given the prviledge of being offerd for sacrifice to the gods, You would be abled to live among the gods. In meso america rain and water was extremly precious and in short supply kind if like "dune" , Since it was most common delimma was water the god of "water" became the most valued and inevitably the supreme god.

So they would offer sacrifices and including human beings , Like virgins, slave warriors, Sports legends , the best of the best for hope the god would grant a season of rainfall to collect the dewdrops.

Eventually these traditions "obviously obessesive" become just scheiming and mind control by the upper class the nobles, supress and minipulate the peasants. Eventually their lies were discoverd that lead to a uprising inevitablying bringing a end to that civilization.

Just a simple "distilation" device and technology could have ended all that nonsense saved many lies from being murderd and in end the save the civilization providing water.
