Yes, he was against both parties and people who would have voted for both parties (or wouldn't have voted at all) voted for him. However, when you look at his positions, it is VERY clear that most suppport would be from people who would otherwise be democrats. That isn't a debatable point, really... and he DID have something like 50 or 60 thousand votes in Florida... and when the margin (in that absurd "vote" in those counties where the loser "won") was under 300 and FAR FAR more people than that would have voted for Gore if Nader hadn't run than would have voted for Bush it is a fact that Nader direclty helped do in Gore... though the Supreme Court chose the loser to be president, Nader made all that absurdity happen...
