You miss the point. My views happen to be similar to that party purely by coincidence (and some of my views are not reflected by them). I had these opinions before I even figured out what either party stood for.
Being trapped in the partisan circle, you would of course view "the enemy" as completely different. If you ask me though, both parties pretty much are the same old argument. Big deal regarding the issues, it's how they go about their business that's exactly the same.
