Most of the environments shown thus far have been huge deserts, wastelands, and such, so of course there isn't going to be finite detail in those places. Much like the upcoming Zelda, there will be enormous stretches of land that will not be as detailed as you would expect from say, Fable and its super-tiny environments. But still, if you are not impressed with these graphics even on a technical level then you are not sane.
