I recently beat MGS2 again, and as such I must agree, he's spouting public opinion and falling perfectly in line with what his closed circle of memetic life tells him to do, under the geiss of "free will". Democrat, Republican, as I said before it's a stupid system that results in EVERYTHING that some say being interpreted ONLY in comparison to those two sides. Evidence of this is when someone said I simply MUST be republican merely because many of my views fall in line with that group's views. It's as though he couldn't imagine someone actually being outside such considerations. More importantly, the first thing he did was contrast and compare my views to two parties, for what reason I ask? Why must everyone's views be measured and stacked up against two groups that some don't even CARE about the opinions of? Just because someone is vegitarian it doesn't make them PETA. If you ask me, republicans and democrats are pretty much the same thing. For another matter, regarding my first comment, without free will there is no difference between submission and rebellion. That person "rebelled" in exactly the way the public wanted him to.
