Oh, he was only asking about 6, and I just added a bit about 4.
Yes though, 4 had a lot "added". Actually, it was restored to the original Japanese version. The US version was neutered for American audiences. After that, they actually made even MORE changes and released it in Japan as "easy type". Some say it was the other way around, that FF2 here was actually their Easy Type, but ours came first. Easy Type in Japan is actually even easier. Anyway, the PS1 game had all manner of stuff put back in and some difficulty boosted. However, considering all the moves the characters have access to in it, I'd say that in the end the enemies being more powerful doesn't really make it too much harder. At least, I didn't have much of a hard time, well except on two bosses (the first one being that horrid WALL, it just keeps COMING!). Basically, what it gives you is a lot more freedom in what you can do in battle, and considering it's the way it was originally intended, that's a good thing. Oh yeah, there's a couple FMVs added... And a run feature when you hold down the cancel button...
