The sketch is interesting, and obviously an attempt to get more credibility... but it could just as easily have been faked. Yeah, you're right DJ -- these two reports contradict eachother. It'll be interesting to see what happens... both of them sound pretty interesting, though I don't know if I'd want it to come out this year as this one suggests (though it'd probably be delayed anyway). And a larger disk than 5GB would be good. The PS3 at least will have a much bigger one...
As for gyro/tilt control, who knows. It all depends on how it's implemented... and I wouldn't put enough credibility in this report to fully believe it. But with all the rumors of something about gyros out there I wouldn't be surprised at all to see the Revolution controller use them in some way. I did use a tilt controller once, other than Kirby's Tilt & Tumble... Microsoft's Sidewinder tilt controller, best designed for motorcycle games. It's interesting. Takes a bit of getting used to, but different... though this report is different, I don't know how it would work. Rubbing the controller? Strange...
