That just shows that you don't have a good ear for music then. ;)
Many music games don't use the original songs, and I'm really not sure why that is. Perhaps it's cheaper that way (maybe it's cheaper to license a song and then have some no-name band perform it than to use the actual original song), or perhaps they need to make the songs fit the gameplay better. I dunno, I'm just throwing out ideas here. Whatever the case is, there is a reason.
