You get in trouble for sharing stuff on filesharing networks, not just having it on your HDD... don't share and you won't get in trouble for what you have, essentially. Why? Well that is probably part of it, and I don't approve of stealing in any other form, and I really did need to get rid of a lot of stuff to make room for all of those games I got this year... that alone would have required getting rid of a lot of stuff on my HDD... you don't install 20-plus gigs of games to nowhere. :)
On that note, PC games are getting irritatingly large. I don't like every game being 2, 3, 4 gigabytes... you can have so few on a harddrive without being forced to delete, which I REALLY hate to do...
As for emulators, some I still have... ones with legal roms (that is where the original developers have relased them into the public domain)... such as the Atari ST with some of Jeff Minter's games. Like the best version of Llamatron. :)
As for anime, I wouldn't really have to do that either if we actually got cable at home so I could watch it on TV and if I actually had a TV in my dorm room so I could watch it here too... :)
