They get drained anyway and now there's OTHER batteries getting drained super fast anyway!
I didn't even know they sell ni-cad rechargables anymore, except for cordless phones. All the rechargables I see now are NiMH, which have a higher charge capacity than NICD and do not have a memory effect.
