The best badge to have, though, is called Quick Change. You can buy it from Dazzle underneath Rogueport. It lets you switch partners without using a turn to do so. It costs a hefty 7 BP, but the versatility it gives you is well worth it, especially when you've got seven different partners that can all add something to a battle.
You can actually get that badge that allows you to beat weak enemies without a battle fairly early in the game. I can't remember where I got it, but I've had it for quite some time.
And I totally agree with you about Quick Change. It makes it so much easier to battle, especially against enemies that can only be defeated by a certain type of attack. I bought that badge as soon as I earned enough stars.
