DS launch info

First, maybe RR64 gets better with more play, but I only rented it once...

I'm not talking about the N64 game.

If I was to rank those games (for racing mode only)... (oh, there certainly might be other serieses that belong on this list, but I didn't think of them.)

One more note. This is for arcadish racing games... sims really are a totally different category and putting them together is tough because of how different they are.

1. F-Zero
2. Wipeout
3. Rush
(hard to rank specifically after this, varies)
4. Extreme-G
5. Pod
6. Micro Machines
7. Moto Racer (not 3)
8. Rollcage
9. Hydro Thunder (only single game here...)
10. Ridge Racer

Some that would not make that list, but are decent... Need for Speed (just missed), Burnout (NFS is probably better), Wave Race, etc.


Of course a list like this is the kind of thing that changes all the time as you think about it, but the general idea is the point, not a definite ranking...

Man, what an awful list. It's very obvious from that list that you only ever owned an N64, whose only good racer's were the unrealistic Nintendo ones (and the odd good one like WO64). The PSX had all of the good racing games, so I suppose I can't blame you too much for having such bad taste in racing games. :)

Rage Racer was the peak of the RR series for me. I played that game to death.

Oh, and Burnout 3 is the game of the generation. It should be at the top of your stupid list even if you haven't played it.

I really want to get Burnout 3...
