I got the original myst when it came out , Played with it for a while but then and didnt make much sense (purpose of the game) so I loss interest , Warcraft II was to addictive then so Myst just didnt apeal much to me,
The graphics and visuals were impressive though.
My biggest question about Myst is "WTF"! Is it about?I played myst II which was a little better I completed a few puzzles but then realize I didnt know were I was sopposed to go it felt like I was just solving puzzles and moving on to the next one, No character interaction ? I didnt play the full game on any of them so I dont have any idea if their was any characters but the hours I played I didnt see any and it made no sense to me.I know some people who religously play myst and love it like hell. I will admit it was a charming game but its lack of player direction is what I didnt like.

Update! Realizes there are some characters in Myst III.
Also realizes you are traped in some kind of book ,Kind of sounds like the never ending story.
