Actually that certain someone said that the price would be at or under $300, but not over. And then certain idiots here said that it'll be $400 or more. And now those certain idiots are going to have to eat crow.
Someone quote this, please.
Nintendo still hasn't even announced the launch titles and we haven't gotten any new info on software since E3 (aside from the tiny bit of Metroid info). They're already being stupid. But on the other hand they are launching the system with a demo (that you don't have to buy five games to get!) so maybe there is hope...

Quote:$300 is still a lot for a handheld system... with the DS at half the price it should be interesting. Obviously they are going for different markets, but how interested is the PSP's market in getting a system like that? Oh, it'll do well because it's Playstation, but Nintendo has a very good chance. I doubt very much that it'll be like the PSX and N64.Imagine if the PS2 came out at the same time as the N64 and costed twice as much as it. That's what we have here, at least on a technical level.
Quote:Really, the biggest threat to Nintendo here is Nintendo itsself... as in, if they're stupid enough they can lose.
