Yeah... that comment just makes absolutely no sense at all. Umm... I played racing games online on a 56k modem around 5 years ago on the PC... I see no reason why its so "hard to do" now... and it just makes no logical sense whatsoever that not doing online play is in any way a remote advantage in the long-term bottom line of the company or their sales numbers... since it would help both (the second immediately and the first eventually) if its done right... I bet Microsoft will prove that in the end (ie their huge losses won't be permanant).
