Indeed, stupid Canadians... I don't care how much work they did, they are still just Canadians, not "the French". French Canadian is about as far as it gets, but you can't erase Canadian from them, and honestly, I don't care HOW offended any of them get by that. I demand you tell them ALL in PERSON that I said that.

African Americans, Hispanic Americans how is that any different? You make fun of their mother countries and regions like mexico or Africa they will be offended, When you say mexicans and south americans are lazy cowards the ones who are Hispanic americans will automatically assume your reffering to them too,In most cases its true. If you said the Chinese were cowardly scum and meant China without being specific , I am sure every person in china town U.S.A is gonna be offended.

I understand now that you meant france, I dont care or mind I know now you meant france , But I hear that statement many times and they dont even mean france, Some even are from the U.S.

In my town I see those kinds of slurs and grafiti on the walls, "Kill the french" " Go back to france" " Then you also see slurs in french agiast the english" , Before in the past people would get assaulted for speaking either french or english pending the nationality of the thug but even the sepratist goverment cracked down on that violence to keep the peace.If you knew canadian history you would know about the FLQ crisis which was like a near terrorist group in the 70's they killed a british deplomat after taking him hostage, Piere Trudeau had pretty well made the province on Marshal law imposing a curfew and thousands were arrested.

When Conan Obrian came to canada and started to bash and make fun of french canadians, Parliament was pissed , Its like inviting someone down in the U.S and give him a subsidy and have that person call the blacks niggers and use racist jokes to amuse his white audience.

In canada you cant make such a statement , I dont give a crap what you americans think how things go you dont know! America is your only dome of knowledge.

Lets drop this, It is pointless , Ive made my point clear and I know you didnt mean anyone accept france,I bashed france too, But it certainly could have been more tactful.

Next time you say french , I will assume you mean France,Bashing a country isnt racism not that it wont offend people. If you said the English I would have assumed England,But nobody reffers to them that way its old and outdated, You would probaily say Brit. Though if it was said here some would assume the english canadians if you were not saying it in english or was known as non english person. Interpretation of this issue is matter of were you live and who you are.
