HOLY SHIT!! What an announcement! Sega has knocked my socks off, just as expected. This totally blows the DS and PSP out of the water. Seriously, the competitors at E3 should wallow in shame and hide closets and put magnums into their mouths.
All sarcasm aside... honestly, am I missing something? A new Phantasy Star game (for only one console, no less) warrants a bunch of ridiculous hype? I can't download the trailer unless I give GameSpot my date of birth, mother's maiden name, social security number, and current location coordinates on the globe (precise to the nearest centimeter), and I don't feel like going through that. Someone tell me I'm missing something... all gamespot says is that it's a new Phantasy Star game for PS2.
