Storyline can be a great thing, but in my opinion FFV wasn't really a storyline kind of RPG, the sort where the gameplay is designed to emphesize the story and visa versa. The battling and exploring were plenty to keep me entertained the way it was done. I will say that leveling up classes got tiring after a while.
