I actually sold a copy of Final Fantasy 3 [SNES] that I owned but it was only because I had another and it, unlike the one I sold, had a working save battery.

My dad's boss ordered FF3 from a catalog once (along with Secret of Mana), and when he realized it was for SNES and not for his computer he just gave them to my dad. I kept SoM, but I already owned FF3 so I sold it to my friend for $20. I kick myself now as a still-shrink-wrapped copy of FF3 is worth a pretty penny, and will only go up in value.
