I suppose it is, as it could have had a longer timer on it considering. However, it was put in place to prevent you from being able to go to places you shouldn't be able to get to at that point. It was a control. Like I said though, considering the vast distances between isles, they could have boosted the timer on that substantially without making the timer useless.
