Well, going on just those two pics alone, and ignoring the lesser sharpness of the second, I'm tempted to say that the things that make the second so much worse are the grass rather than the colorful flowers and the way the hill kinda wraps around and slopes into the valley in the first, as opposed to how it seems more like you're on a cliff seperated from the valley in the second. Oh yes, those mountain tops just aren't as nice either...
I will say that there's been a huge amount of recalled features in Fable recently... It's rather disappointing. I mean, I know each cancelled bit was hard on the developers to remove, but perhaps they should have known they were overly ambitious from the start. Really, I remember when the game was supposed to allow you to create your own monsters and then let you kill them in over 12000 different ways, WITH VIRTUAL BERRIES! Well, I still am really looking forward to it. It seems it'll still allow you to play the game as you want, but just not to the degree the makers had originally hoped for.
One thing about Jade Empire. I certainly hope the save files are small enough to fit on my memory card. It's rather annoying to know that I'll never be able to move my KOTOR save files to another XBox, or the XBox 2 (assuming they get smart and give it a hard drive and backwards compatibility).
