From what I've read, the RE2 and RE3 boxes should read: "This is Capcom's attempt to cash in off the popularity of the Resident Evil liscense without putting any time or money into it. Yes, that's my hand in your pants. And now you're forty dollars poorer. Sucker. Oh, and buy RE4 when it comes out!" I was actually considering the purchase of these to have the complete Resident Evil set, but then a rent of RE0 disappointed me and that idea went out the window. Also, that was when the ports were announced as $20 games. $20 is easy cash. It's only one normal piece of that green stuff we call money. $40 is a whole degree of magnitude greater. It takes more commitment to spend $40. But if you're going for posterity, $40 is worth it. I can't justify $80 for posterity, especially when I can get Skies of Arcadia:Legends for $45, a game that falls into a genre that I miss so much. Not to mention that at least Sega put a little effort into SoA:L.
