Look, of course he can think that the guy is overrated if he wants... that isn't the point. Its the rest... he said that the media made him to be better than he is because it wants blacks to succeed. That's just absurd, and is being racist towards the guy... he's attacking the player (don't remember his name, don't really care) and the media at the same time. Does the media really do that? I greatly doubt it, it doesn't really make sense... but Rush clearly has a skewed view of reality, so I'd expect that from him. The difference of course is the format... on radio no one would care because he and the others like him say stuff worse than that all the time, but this was a national audience on ESPN... and fortunately, TV has less tolerance for hate speech than right-wing talk radio.
