Yeah for the people that actually have some say in the topics it does matter, but when it's just two guys who are extreme and stubborn in their political views and no amount of debating will ever change their sides, it is of no importance whatsoever.

Oh, I know no one will ever budge one inch. That's why I'd rather call them arguements than debates... 'debate' implies some amount of give and take...
