Quote:Yeah, it actually does. I hate arguing but I like to resolve things, so that's why I stick around in these stupid debates.
Yesterday night in chat DJ was saying that everyone else could tell our resolutions before the arguements start and that its pointless and stuff... maybe I should post that transcript too to show what kind of crazy things DJ was saying...
Oh, we were specifically talking about that last big PSP debate thread... DJ said that a resolution which is just 'wait and see', accepting different opinions, and changing the subject to something we agree on isn't really a resolution or something... I disagreed of course, since it wasn't like that and isn't often...
I think the biggest thing that particular arguement proved is that DJ really doesn't read our arguements.
Quote:Let me explain that one more time for y'all.
If someone throws rocks at you and they really don't hurt, you can still be offended by the act of the rock-throwing, the bad intentions.
I wouldn't really say that that's a valid comparison here... unless you manage to come up with some way to say that DJ doesn't think throwing rocks at people is bad, which wouldn't make sense.
Quote:You do insult people in arguments. I just explained that!
But I said that those don't count! :)
Really, those real-world ones are definitely different... as I said, those debates definitely matter. Those subjects are things that have great importance in the real world... so of course I care about them and am disturbed greatly by some of the positions Weltall supports!
And anyway, even there I don't swear at people...
Quote:No, I never start it. I just retaliate. Which I know is almost as bad, but hey--nobody's perfect.
Huh? You're often the first one to get nasty in a arguement, at least with us... maybe Darunia is different, not sure.
Quote:I care about DJ's opinion, it just gets very annoying to listen to sometimes.
Yeah, you've made that pretty clear.
