Wow, five posts to reply to... I really don't want to reply to all that... :)

How about I do it this way.

ABF, you are a pretty nice person actually. Not sure why OB1 considers you mean. I mean, aside from TOTALLY DESSIMATING MY TROOPS WITH NO HINT OF MERCY, you've been pretty nice. Generally, it's obvious it's just your own opinion on many things like games, but perhaps a little rephrasing is in order occasionally, like OB1's example (though you don't make statements like that nearly that often, as far as I can tell anyway).

Gee wiz, perhaps you say that because you never get into arguments with ABF? Hmmm...

Hey, if you read that chat transcript you'd see that we argue somewhat about some things. Not as much as you and I do obviously, but some... but it for some reason just goes better than debating something with you does. That is probably because not many people are as intractable as you...

And DJ... having mercy wouldn't be a good survival strategy in a videogame... :) And also, I do try to be nice. Its tough sometimes and I am not always able to be nice, but I definitely try... I just don't think that insults get anywhere in an arguement. Its probably related to the fact that I don't swear...

And I'll admit that sometimes I could phrase things better.

I'll say this. Often a thread will be somewhat lively for a time, but then you two argue, and the thread immediatly dies. Well, you two are still there, I guess, but everyone else left except for GR or myself occasionally popping in to add something. Of course, at first I'm sure everyone has their own opinions, but they are wiser than I and keep their mouth shut. It's not a cowardly thing to do by the way. Ever heard of "turning the other cheek"?

Of course, and I want ABF and myself to stop the never-ending arguments, but there's a difference between completely staying out of a debate and popping in to add your own comments which starts up another debate and then never coming back, as you often do.

I agree here with OB1. As you both know. :)

Right, so you have stayed out of all of those emulation and ROM debates because they're "fool's arguments", even though you usually start them? I'm glad you're not a hypocrite, DJ.

I'd rather blame your clearly selective memory. How else could me, DJ, and most everyone else I have heard talk about you remember one thing while you are trying to claim that it was something different? It doesn't make sense... I know you have insulted people lots of times, and used your standard 'your position is totally stupid and wrong but beleive it if you want to but it shows how you are stupid' debating strategy against far too many people to believe you when you say its just us, or its just recent!

That is different. Those are real-world debates which actually do matter and I am often quite disturbed by his positions on things...

Perhaps they're just afraid that it'll turn into another stupid debate. Just try to stop, alright??

And are you saying that you can't tell the difference between calling Nintendo stupid for not making online games and calling someone you personally know stupid?? Come on now.

I'll bet you've talked badly about DJ to me before without DJ being there... but that second statement is a good question.

OB1, you need to learn to calm down. It's good to see you finally accepted there's nothing wrong with just stating one's opinions and just leaving to let you two discuss them as you see fit, not really caring if you agree or disagree.

I haven't accepted that at all. I'm just sick of trying to make you defend your points.

Did you actually read my entire posts? It sure doesn't look like it. I only talked about the whole stupid Bleakstare thing when ABF mentioned it. He writes something, and I reply to it. Notice how I'm doing that right now.

DJ, he doesn't care. He's made that clear.
