With the people laughing it ends up funny for a different reason. That guy must be the "leader" so any jokes he makes are instantly laughed at by the group. I have cronies who laugh at what I say all the time, and almost all my jokes aren't all that funny (plus they laugh at the least funny parts...). It's annoying but at the same time I'm in no hurry to stop them.

Without them I think I would have liked what was SUPPOSED to be funny more.
