Uh, sorry but that's not what happened. There is no Silent Hill remake for the PS2, so I don't know where you get your information from. The GH version of Silent Hill 2 is just the previously released Silent Hill 2 but with the extra scenario that was included in the X-Box port. Konami gave their fans the extra scenario with the GH version because they are smart.
MGS2 Substance is not a remake of MGS2, either. It appears that you don't know what a remake actually is. Substance is just MGS2 with a crapload of extras, and since MGS is so popular Konami thought that they could sell it at full price.
