Right, so non-realistic flight sims are bad, but non-realistic racers are the only good kind? 
You big hypocrite. At least the realistic racers don't have crappier controls and gameplay like realistic flight sims do. I don't give a damn about shield management, I just want good controls and combat. Not the usual crap that you get from most space sims. "Try to shoot the enemy while it flies right in front of you, turn around reeeaaal slow, then try to shoot the enemy again when it zips right past you". :yawn:
