YOU SAID THAT IT IS GEX 2 VERSUS MARIO 64
Then, you said how they stink and are bad and are terrible and awful. Then a small comment sometimes about 'in comparison to' but not always, for sure...

If that's not "they are bad" nothing is.
Oh yeah, big guy... I don't mention XG3 because while its a perfectly good futuristic racer, its just not in the same class as F-Zero X, Wipeout XL/64, Rollcage 2, or XG2... its in the next level down, sure, but not quite on the top level. Its just too derivitive and lacks its own unique identity...
I know that I complained at Gamespot's F-Zero X review for saying that F-Zero X doesn't have a "soul" and that that's a big part of the problem with the game... because with F-Zero that's not true. But it is with XG3. Its a fun game, I liked it... but its just too derivitive, without really making a stand as a truly unique game. Its just F-Wipeout...
Oh yeah, and too easy. XG2 was really, really hard and can last you a REALLY long time (50-race campaign. Plus three difficulty levels.), while XG2 has a total of 27 races overall -- and no difficulties to make it harder. And you can save after every race to make it significtantly easier on top of that.
One final comment. I've played Wipeout XL. 64 is without question better.

Quote:Come on now, ABF. Just admit that you like lots of crappy games and be over with it.
