The style they did this game in seems to allow for almost everything the fully 3D game could do aside from camera movement. Certainly should be interesting, assuming I haven't become TOO jaded about collecting games :D.
FPSs I already mentioned as the last bastion of co-op. Yes, you are right, some games still have it, like Ikaruga for instance. However, that's a game that's an homage to the old school anyway, so it's expected. Then there's the genre I forgot, the 3rd person vehicle smashy smash genre, like Battletanx.
Ah, Ninja Turtles, that'll bring so much back to us. The loverly street bashing for no good reason at all against people who have NO decent excuse fighting you genre, plus 4p co-op!
