Hell, the very reason some people are poor is because they mis-manage their money and spend too much on crap like games and cars when they can barely afford to feed themselves or their children.

And the last thing we need are more taxes. As was mentioned before, the Revolution that gave birth to this country occured because of harsh and needless taxation, and to then allow ourselves to give most of our earnings as taxes would fly in the face of that. We need less taxes and less government involvement. We need more people to become willing to support themselves and stop relying on handouts.
