I highly doubt that. How could manipulating a curser possibly aid in actually handling a gun? You actually have to AIM a gun, as opposed to getting that sight on the screen lined up using an analog stick or mouse. FPS playing has never once aided my abilities in Duck Hunt. The stuff this article says is the other ways it supposedly helps mental development. You don't need to think when it's there to read.
Anyway, I still want to know the details of this experiment. Too often scientifically flawed experiments are picked up by the news, often used to make video games look evil.
