I think it's very obviously clear that that comment was directed to the person who said it. If Miyamoto didn't say it, he wasn't talking about Miyamoto then now was he? Also, "probably certainly" IS a glaring oxymoron, and a huge gramatical error that IS hard to decipher. Is it a chance, or is it certain?
Interesting modes lazy, but they would certainly have to spend a long time adding all sorts of weapons and overall changing how the game is handled (in other words, throw in the entire Perfect Dark engine with Metroid graphics and sound) in order to do it. Then the mulitplayer mode is nothing like single player at all, which isn't a problem of course, but I think I like my idea better, since it allows them to spend more time on single player and more quickly make a multi mode without totally changing controls, adding all sorts of weapons, and so on. I WOULD have to actually play a deathmatch multiplayer with unaltered Prime gameplay to be sure, but I don't think deathmatching using Prime gameplay (autotargetting, overlylimited similar weapons, infinite ammo for all but the missles, the controls which basically allow for very slow turning and guarentee that whoever is facing the other first will be the winner) would end up being very fun at all. That's why I suggested an alternative.
