Yeah it does look like a cool game, but you're still not paying attention.
At each E3, all of the big gaming companies hold a press conference to lay out their plans for the next year or so and show off their big titles. Last year Nintendo's main focus during their press conference was Metroid Prime, Mario Sunshine, and Zelda. This year their main focus was PACMAN. Compare that to MS who wowed audiences by showing off an eight-minute video of Halo 2 as well as some other huge games (like Doom 3, DX 2, etc.). Sony showed off MGS3, announced the PSP, and some other things.
I watched the press conference. It was a disaster. Miyamoto got up on the stage and said that the audience was extremely lucky to be there and hyped up the game he was about to show. Naturally most people thought "Mario 128!" or something along those lines, then Miyamoto unveils a perfect port of the original PACMAN, with added multiplayer support. As you can imagine, the crowd didn't exactly go wild.
I'm going to repeat this one more time, ABF. If this wasn't the main focus of Nintendo's press conference and one of their big titles at E3 I would not be dissapointed!
