Well, we're all traveling through time... at the speed of... regular time...

So I guess... someone waking up just now who fell into a coma in 2006 would have the same experience?  Also, their body would probably be in terrible condition.  Maybe they'd end up being brainwashed into thinking they're a special agent covert ops soldier and take on a burning man and a psychic kid and a giant robot or something?  Also horses.
